We put player comfort front and centre. To back this up, we use these FoundryVTT modules: • Table Safety: Quick-access safety signals during play, so you can pause, adjust, or stop a scene anytime. • Safety Tools: Structured options like the X-Card, Lines & Veils, and Script Change to keep everyone engaged at their comfort level. These tools are always on hand and respected. Use them whenever you need.

• Session Zero Call-Out: At Session Zero, we set clear expectations and boundaries. Unless you specifically call out topics or themes you are uncomfortable with during this session, our games will include adult themes such as racism, bigotry, phobias, and other challenging content. These elements are balanced thoughtfully and openly acknowledged. • Sexual Content: Actual sex acts are always a fade to black. Romantic or suggestive moments can be roleplayed, but explicit detail isn’t part of our games. • Violence: Combat and peril are part of the adventure. Expect vivid, detailed descriptions by default... unless you prefer less detail, just say so. • Adult Themes: Our games are intended for adult players and may include tones or themes involving racism, bigotry, phobias, and other challenging content. These elements are balanced thoughtfully and called out in advance. • Player Comfort and Safety Tools: If anything feels off, use safety tools or speak up. Your comfort matters, and we have tools like the X-Card, Lines & Veils (that's this bit right here), and Script Change to help maintain a safe and respectful space.

We schedule sessions together to fit everyone’s availability (including mine), usually 3-4 hours long. If you need to miss a session, please give a heads-up as early as possible to help with planning. Also, remember to update or change your StartPlaying booking details promptly to avoid unwanted charges.

Roll For Tangents is a welcoming, supportive space especially for neurodivergent and LGBTQI+ players. We celebrate diversity and make sure everyone feels respected and valued.

Every campaign kicks off with a Session Zero. We set expectations, talk character connections, and agree on boundaries to make sure everyone’s comfortable and excited.

Open, respectful communication is key. We value your ideas and foster a collaborative storytelling vibe where every voice counts.

Your choices shape the story. Your input and decisions have real impact on how the narrative unfolds.

We use FoundryVTT as our main virtual tabletop. Dice rolls and game mechanics run digitally for smooth play. For help, check out our Foundry instructional videos on YouTube.

Roll For Tangents games are whimsical, immersive, and emotionally rich. We blend epic adventure with heartfelt moments and a dash of irreverent charm.
